White Wolf is a forerunner of a concept they call *storytelling,* which is their spin on the GMing concept. It emphasizes the story over the rules and mechanics of play. Therefore I would tend to lean toward writing fiction or adventures which are heavily drama/roleplaying oriented. Strange as it sounds, I would seriously consider writing for a game system *not* put out by White Wolf. They truly want to be an independent game magazine but most people send in Vampire and Ars Magica material while they hunger for WW stuff. I saw in a letters to the editor exchange last summer a debate between Kevin Simbeida and Stewart Wick on why they never have any articles on Palladium stuff and I got the idea it was because they never got any *submissions* on Palladium stuff! I know that when Lisa was the assistant editor of the magazine she liked stuff with a doomed sorta Morcock-style feel to it, much like the gothic feel of Vampire. Since Lisa works for me now, that may not be helpful but I think that Mark and Stewart are probably along the same vein. In case anyone is interested, here are a list of magazines and their addresses. This is by no means a complete list, simply the ones I happen to have subscriptions to.
