The new Highlander: The Gathering Home Page is now up and running at

                        http://www.ip.net/highlander/

From now on, that is the Web page where all news, updates and future
editions of H:tG will be posted. It is likely that Hank's old page
at the University of Utah will be deleted soon, so if you have links
to that page in any web pages you maintain, please change them to the
   new URL.

Please take note of the new copyright declaration which is linked to
the new page. Because of legal complexities, and in order to keep
track of what's happening with the rules, we've had to put together
some new rules - if you wish to repost the rules to any electronic
forum, use them in an online game (ie. MUDs and MUSHes), or print
out more than one copy of the rules, in order to pass them on to
someone else, can you please ask our permission. This isn't meant to
be constrictive - we're very unlikely to refuse you permission - but
   please do let us know.

At the moment, Hank and I are working on a Third Edition of the rules,
which will include revamped and updated Quickening rules, information
on the Watchers and Hunters, the Immortals' X File and clues to the
origins of the Immortals in the World of Darkness. We expect to release
the Third Edition sometime towards the end of the summer, or at the
beginning of autumn. In the meantime, we are, as always, looking for
feedback on H:tG, so if you have anything to say, please email either
me (John Gavigan) on [u--de--g] at [cent1.lancs.ac.uk], or Hank Driskill on
[d--sk--l] at [d2.com] with your suggestions, criticism, etcetera.

Also, in order to help us keep track of H:tG across the net, can you
let us know if you maintain H:tG on your web or ftp site, or if your
web pages include a link to the H:tG Home Page.

Finally, I'd like to thank Mark Imbriaco and Internet Publishing and
Presence, Inc. who donated the server space for the H:tG Home Page.
