Subject: The Werechilds

To Jerry: No, I'm not dead and I quite liked the Dragons file
on teetot.acusd.edu. This is an invention of a friend and me.

WERECHILD
---------
Alignment: CHAOTIC NEUTRAL (EVIL)
Intelligence: Genius (but never show it)
Armor Class: 2
Special attacks: see below.
Special defenses: Only hit by +1 or better magical leather belts or by natural
belts with +1 or silver buttons.
Treasure: see below.

By day, this strange creature seems just an innocent bystander.
In full moon nights and against his/her own will, the man or woman
will turn into a child who will bother anybody/anything that crossess
his path. This creature is specially feared by wizards and priests,
who need (or think they need) to keep always their things in order.

COMBAT: The first attack of the werechild is charm by gaze. This
requires a saving throw with a -2 (remember the TRIBBLES on Star
Trek?). If the attempt succeeds, the charmed person will spend 2d10
days pleasing the werechild whim.
If this fails, the werechild will cry and attack the person. When and
if engaged, the first reaction of the werechild will be to scream and
wail for help, as if the adult who is the object of his rage is trying
to rape him. After that, the werechild will first kick the knee of the
attacked person until it either have fallen to the floor or lost his
foot. The combat from thereon is a combination of scratches, hair
removal and bites.

TREASURE: The only treasure somebody can find if he/she actually gets
to kill a werechild (which is not only rare but banned by society, as
they don't seem the dangerous creatures they are) and gets to find his
lair, will be a lot of old pens, documents which where important
someday but that are now worthless, rings, little toys, etc.
