Product announcements are free advertising. 3. Many game cons will give you an ad in exchange for prizes. (i.e. you use the retail value of the games to pay for the ad, but the games actually only cost you your *production* cost). 4. Articles about your game are free advertising. 5. rec.games.frp.announce is free advertising. 6. Word of mouth is free advertising. 7. The rec.games.frp FAQ list is free advertising. Numbers 1 and 6 only work to your benefit if the game is good, however...
