How foolish are you? Never give the police any more credit than they
deserve...of course they can attack without reason. I'm going to relate
a very sickening police story to you:

Here in Troy, NY, four of my friends were driving in the downtown
area, and they witnessed a woman getting beat up by three men, at
which point my friends pulled over to help the lady, and the attackers
left. My friends rushed over to help the injured lady, at which point
a group of police show up, start kicking the shit out of my friends,
and ignored the pleas of the woman, arrested my friends, and
THEN LEFT THE WOMAN there!!!

My brother was sitting with his eyes closed on the lawn of the World
Music Theatre, doing nothing but listening to the music. When a guard
tapped him on his back (again, he was doing nothing), and he did not
turn around right away (the guard did not ID himself), my brother was
immediately mobbed and beat up by security. The World, which detained
him for the rest of the show, later apologized and offered him
season's tickets. He refused their offer.

In my original hometown outside Chicago, two police officers who were
driving hit one of a pair of Rottweilers. Rather than live up to their
mistake, they shot both dogs and dumped them in the sludge lagoon
near our house. Even upon being discovered later on, they only
got a slap on the wrist.

Moral? Never give the police credit along the lines of "they
would never do that. " Think again...they will.
