of the Fully Informed Jury Association.

               ACTIVIST BULLETIN:  BRANCH DAVIDIANS TRIAL
               ==========================================

        The projected date for the beginning of the trial of twelve
Branch Davidians, survivors of the holocaust at Waco, TX, is January 10.
They will be tried on charges of murder and conspiracy to murder federal
officers. The trial will be held at the Federal Courthouse in downtown
San Antonio, TX.

        A large turn-out of protestors would be very desirable, as more
evidence leaks out to support the contention that the government, not
the Davidians, should be on trial for murder. For those of you who plan
to come to San Antonio to join the crowd, here are some directions which
may be helpful, along with information about lodging, parking, and
public transportation.

        The courthouse is located just a stone's throw south of San
Antonio's tallest building, a virtual copy of Seattle's Space Needle,
known as the Tower of the Americas. It can be seen for miles, most
easily from I-35. Take the E. Durango Blvd. exit (141A) off I-35/37,
head west and look for a round concrete building on your right. That's
the courthouse. It's not right on the street, but neither is the Tower:
both are located in Hemisfair Park, the southern border of which is E.
Durango Blvd.

        Parking is awful in this area. There are two lots across E.
Durango from the courthouse, but chances of finding space are going to
be nil. The lots on the north side of the street are for government
employees. It's better to park at a distance and walk or take a bus or
trolley. Both are numerous, frequent, and cheap, and there is a stop on
E. Durango, right at the courthouse.

        There are motels in the immediate vicinity of Hemisfair Park,
none of them cheap, but La Quinta is the most reasonable; phone (210)
222-9181 or (800) 531-5900.  There are Marriott hotels nearby as well;
phone (210) 223-1000 and (210) 224-4555.  If you can't afford "downtown
rates", head north, where rates go down and the area is fairly safe
(it's college country). If anybody wants to know, just say that you're
coming to see the Hemisfair.

        If you wish to participate in FIJA activities only, the voice-
mail number for FIJA in San Antonio is (210) 491-6581.

        You may wish to call the U.S. District Court Clerk at (210) 229-
6550 to check for a last-minute change in the trial date.

        Libertarians are encouraged to dress for TV and to bring protest
signs.  Be creative!  Examples:

                IS YOUR CHURCH ATF APPROVED?

                TRY THE ATTACKERS, NOT THE DEFENDERS!

                WACO 86, KENT STATE 4

        I will be staying at one of the Marriotts and hosting a party in
my room on Sunday evening, January 9. My snail-mail address and day
phone number are given below.
