hemp/straw paper. This is our electronic catalog. If you would like a free
sample, lab certification of the fiber content and other information you
need to give us a physical mailing address to ship to. We'll ship the
sample and information anywhere in the world. If you've already provided
your postal address to us, we'll ship your samples right away.
Our 50%hemp/50%straw paper is produced at our factory in Asia. It is
processed by submerging the raw fiber in a solution of water and quick lime
for 14 days. This breaks the fiber down without the use of toxic chemicals.
In fact, this is the same method in which paper was invented in 105 AD, so
this is an ancient sustainable technology. We whiten the pulp with hydrogen
peroxide instead of chlorine, so there are no toxic by-products from the
bleaching process. Our paper mills don't smell bad at all and all of our
manufacturing processes are nontoxic, unlike all wood-based paper mills.
We ship all small shipments via United Parcel Service and they deliver to
your door, just about anywhere in the world. We can use another shipper if
you prefer. All prices below do not include shipping. We add the UPS shipping
charge to your bill along with US$2.00 for our handling costs. You can find
out their price by calling UPS and asking them what it costs to ship the
weight of your order to you from Portland, Oregon, USA. For large orders we
ship via the least expensive method, via trucking firms in North America.
We can send very large orders to any seaport in the world CIF, in other
words our price/cost includes freight to your port. We can manufacture any
type of paper from our nonwood fiber and nonwood toxic processes. We'll be
happy to quote you our price on any type of paper.
