Here is a listing of the California Chiefs of Police that are known
signatures to the CPCA Position Paper 95-1.

I did notice that the names of some members of the CPCA Gun control
committee were missing, but....

On the lighter side, MANY police chiefs are getting A LOT OF HEAT
about this. Finding people who are willing to admit that they
actually signed on to this position paper is getting difficult. NRA
Sacramento might be able to provide more up to date info on this.

State Police Chiefs Back Stiffer Gun Regulations:

The California Police Chiefs Association is lobbying hard to make it
more difficult for law-abiding citizens to obtain firearms. They were
the group responsible for the passage of the Pasadena ordinance to
register the sale of ammunition. Taking from their lead, other cities in
California are planning to adopt similar ordinances in the near future.

Rather than waiting to fight the ordinance in your city, it is important
that we begin our fight at the root of the problem: police officials
who spend the resources of their city to foster a political agenda.

Here are the police chiefs that must be "targeted for removal." Most
chiefs are appointed by their city council so it makes it difficult
to get them replaced directly. It is necessary to first elect a
proper citizen-controlled council.

And then, with a pro-liberty city council, we can have the council
restrict the chief of police to ENFORCING THE LAWS, and not allow him to
use his position to endorse a political agenda.

Here in California, these are the cities where we must work to
remove/replace the listed Chief of Police:

Arroyo Grande: Rick Terborch
Buena Park: Rich Tefank
Fremont: Craig Steckler
Gardena: Richard Propster (3rd Vice President)
Glendale: Jim Anthony (1st Vice President)
Huntington Beach: Ron Lowenberg (2nd Vice President)
Los Gatos: Larry Todd (President of Chief's Association)
Manhatten Beach: Ted Mertens
Monterey: Floyd Sanderson
Newport Beach: Bob McDonell
Oakland: Joe Samuels
Pismo Beach: Brook McMahon
Pleasant Hill: James Nunes
Pomona: Lloyd Wood
Redding: Bob Blankenship
Roseville: Tom Simms
San Jose: Louis Cobarruviaz
San Luis Obispo: James Gardiner
Santa Barbara: Rick Breza
Santa Rosa: Sal Rosano
Tiburon: Peter Herley
Tulare: Roger Hill
Yuba City: Roy Harmon

If you live in any of these cities, please contact your city council
members immediately. Point out that your police chief is working to
destroy your freedoms instead of protecting your community. Lobby the
council to reign in the rogue official. Tell them we ELECT our
politicians and WE DON'T NEED POLITICAL POLICE!
