hear!hear!  lynette's right!  don't expect the police to protect
you!  just call 911 from your home and see how long it takes them
to arrive.

after the bomb in OKC, there were bomb threats all over the country.
one place here in scottsdale arizona had bomb threats and it took
the police 3 & 1/2 hours to respond.  funny thing about that is that
the location which had the bomb threat is directly across the street
from the scottsdale police headquarters.
