Hello Nobanners,
In this time where it seems as if every step forward results in a feeling
of two steps back and that when we put our our shaky faith in a politician,
or the system, we end up with eagle droppings in the face. I thought I would
share some excerps from our fellow Noban member La. Governor " Mike Foster"
inauguration speech, given Monday. I seem to switch the words La. citizens
for American citizens during the speech, and it does seem to help with the
haze and fog of attempting to pick a Presidential candidate. As it is a
travesty that with all the candidates running the hair on my neck rises on
the best of them, not to mention what my stomach does with the Clinton types.
Suffice to say the toilet paper company should sell me stock. They said we
couldn't elect a Noban member to the House, the Senate especially Governor,
but as usual the experts were taught a lesson by the people. Bottom line is
we need a Nobanner for Prez.

"For decades, we, as citizens, have watched as the power of government has
increased, and we have watched as government has taken more from each of us,
delivered less to all of us,and become more deeply involved in the lives of
every one of us.
Today, we say enough is enough. Today we say more government is not the
solution.
Today, the people of Louisisna say thatwe know the better life is dependent
on the power of the individual, not the power of the government, that ones
future is dependent upon a persons hard work, and not on the size of the
states budget and that our collective well-being is determined by each
individuals willingness to accept personal responsibility for ones own
destiny isstead of depending on government, politicians, and politics for the
answer to lifes every problem.
Today, we celebrate a new freedom for Louisiana. Today we celebrate
freedom for the individual.Freedom from a stranglehold of interests who have
crippled reform, defeated change, and dampened ourcitizens beliefs that their
voices and their votes and their values do matter.
Today we celebrate the freedom of the individual. Freedom for those who go
to work early, stay late and risk everything to make a small business
succeed. Freedom for those who have grown tired of seeing those who refuse
to work live better than those who do work.
Freedom for honest citizens who believe that owning a gun is a
CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT, not a political handout!
Today, our people are free. They are no longer the servants of government.
Government is the servant of the people! Nothing less will be accepted from
this administration! "
I hope that your pride rises a little as mine did when you read our
brother members thoughts, words and dreams.
