DC:
===
The following titles will not be published in the last week in
February/first week in March cycle, but will return in the
following ordering cycle:
Adventures of Superman
Batman & Robin Adventures
Batman: LotDK
Fate
Impulse
JL Task Force
Legionnaires
The Ray
Steel
DC is setting up a counseling hotline to help readers through
this incredibly traumatic time.

The Invisibles #20 (Morrison & T.L. Edwards). The origin of Boy.

JL Task Force #34 (Priest & Bernado). The team goes to the Inner
World of Skartaris.

Extreme Justice #16 (R. Washington & Morgan). "A Legion of Doom
rises to seal the team's fate."

Aquaman #20 (PAD & Egeland). The Lad formerly known as Aqua- makes
his presence felt.

Batman #530 (Moench & K. Jones). Begins the 3 part "Aztec Connection"
story, guest starring Deadman.

Death: The Time of Your Life #2 of 4 (Gaiman & Bachalo/Buckingham).
The blurb says that Foxglove is about to be outed as a lesbian by
a glossy magazine. That must be Obvious Weekly, a popular publica-
tion in the DCU. In the next issue of OW: Wally West really The
Flash! The sky is blue! Water contains hydrogen and oxygen!

Swamp Thing #166 (Millar & Hester). Alec is tested by the Parliament
of Flames, which is composed entirely of usenet posters. Constantine
and the Phantom Stranger discuss what to do if Alec succeeds, and
the US government sends Jason Woodrue to Houma to find out what's
happening.

Wonder Woman #109 (Byrne). The apparent return of Barry Allen, as
we see an example of the ancient proverb, "If it's been done ad
nauseum, Byrne will do it one more time."

Heroes #1 of 6 (M. Wayne & Chrisscross). Unlike the Shadow Cabinet,
this team of Milestone characters operates overtly. Roster is Static
and Payback, with Shadow Cabinet regulars Donner & Blitzen, Iota,
and Starlight.

Life, The Universe, and Everything (Carnell & Cullins/Vokes). The
third book in Douglas Adams's Hitchhikers Quintology.

The System (Kuper). The "Vertigo Verite" line launches in March
with Peter Kuper's wordless 3 issue mini about subways, serial
killers, corrupt officials, greed, scandal, and the laws of cause
and effect in the big city.

Seven Miles a Second (Wojnarowicz & Romberger). More vertigo verite,
this time a one-shot autobio of artist/writer/AIDS fatality David
Wojnarowicz, written shortly before his death in 1992.

The Project (Figueroa & K. Albert). A paradox fiction 2 issue mini
telling 12 stories set in an inner city housing project.

EVENT:
======
22 Brides: Married to the Mob #1 of 4 (F. Nicieza & Scott Lee).
Fabian writes these Quesada creations: a loose-knit group of
women from all walks of life are entagled in a mob boss's pri-
vate war.

FANTAGRAPHICS:
==============
Orgy Bound tpb (Clowes). The fourth Eightball collection. In-
cludes "Eightball: The Game."

Love & Rockets #50 (G./J./M. Hernandez). The 64 page final issue!
Jaime: the final chapter of "Bob Robertson!" Gilbert: farewell
to Palomar! Mario: a new 15 page story!

GLADSTONE:
==========
Donald Duck Adv. #38 has the first new William Van Horn story
since 1990. More Van Horn in Scrooge #298 and WDC&S #603.
WDC&S is still 64 pages for $5.95.

"Back to the Klondike" is reprinted in Adventures of Uncle Scrooge
in Color by Carl Barks #2.

HORSE PRESS:
============
Pig Dog Parade gn (Pope). A THB story described as "Cat in the Hat
for the nineties"

Crossover season, or perhaps fiddler crab season, begins in ear-
nest. Our theme this year is heaven. In the Extreme titles, Glory
meets Angela (from Spawn), as Angels revolt for the second time.
Masterminded by Liefeld/Napton & Roger Cruz in the Rage of Angels
one-shot and running thru Glory #10, Team Youngblood #21, Young-
blood #6, and Maximage #4. By the usual teams.

Over at Wildstorm, the Big Crossover for '96 is Fire From Heaven,
which will wrap up some loose ends involving Team 7 and Gen13.
Bookends are by Alan Moore and Ryan Benjamin, and it runs thru the
rest of Wildstorm (by the regular teams, except that Jim Lee will
pencil Gen13). This story spans 3 months and promises to explain
the Gen-factor, John Colt, Spartan, and Gamorra Island. Two new
titles will be launched:
*Sigma (Choi & Coker). The first subject of the Genesis Project,
he has been hidden for 25 years...until now. Find out why in...

*Sword of Damocles (WARREN ELLIS & Randy Green). A cosmic being
known as The Sword, herald to the entity called Damocles, arrives
on Earth (Gamorra, to be precise) in search of Sigma.

Body Count # 1 of 4 (Eastman & Bisley). The Teenage Mutant Ninja
Turtles star in their first mini for Image. Casey gets violent.

The Dragon #1 of 5 (Larsen). 99 cent "enhanced reprint" of the
first Savage Dragon mini, with new pages, sketchbook sections,
and "lost" material (i.e., Image #0, etc.).

Savage Dragon #27 (Larsen). Rapture asks Dragon to marry her.
A reader poll will determine whether he accepts. Larsen promises
a fight-free story.

New Shadowhawk #7 (Busiek & Fry). Who is behind the mask? Why
has there always been a Shadowhawk? All secrets revealed, all
questions answered.

The readers have spoken! Low orders told Jim Lee that folks did
not want to shell out $30 for a hardcover Shi/Grifter gn, so
it's coming out as a 2 issue mini for $2.95 each ("ask about
our special HC collector's edition"). Written by Choi and Gutier-
rez, drawn by Lee, Tucci, and Charest.

Supreme #37 (Stephenson & J. Bennett). The female Supreme (for-
merly the male New Supreme) searches for the Original Supreme.

Kid Supreme #1 (Fraga). It *is* what you think. So blatant even
*I* can't defend it.

WildC.A.T.s #28 (A. Moore & Charest). The original 'C.A.T.s re-
turn to Earth and find a big mess. Hijinks ensue.

*Motown Machineworks*
Casual Heroes # 3 of 5 (K. McCarthy & C. Jordan). Kyle Baker pro-
vides the cover for a story they had to call "Why I Hate...Saturn
Red."

Troubleman #1 (Michael Davis & Drost). Trenchcoated SF Noir.
Sample art looked impressive, considering I've never heard of this
Drost kid. Kind of a meld of Sprouse, Williamson, and WS house
style.

To be continued...
