CLIP AND SAVE!
--------------------
DC:
===
The following titles will not be published in February, but will
return the following month:
Adventures of Superman
Batman & Robin Adventures
Batman: LotDK
Fate
Impulse
JL Task Force
Legionnaires
The Ray
Steel
The week of Feb 27 all Marvel and DC titles will be replaced by
12 special one-shots reflecting the outcome of the main events.
The 12 projects will be "retro-solicited" in next month's Previews.
Following that week is DC vs. Marvel #4.

Marvel vs. DC #3 (Marz & Jurgens/Castellini). Main events begin.
A new character (jointly owned by Marvel and DC) is created, who
will pop up in both universes in the coming months.

In the Superman titles, Lois breaks off the engagement.
"Contagion" continues in the Batbooks.

Aquaman #19 (PAD & Egeland). Arthur finds an Atlantean city in the
Himalayas. Ocean Master and The Hero Formerly Known as Aqualad re-
turn.

Dog Moon GN (R. Hunter & Truman). Truman illustrates a romance/hor-
ror epic by Gateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter.

Mister Miracle #1 (Dooley & Crespo). This time for sure.

Hitman #1 (Ennis & Mcrea). Garth Ennis's NewBlood character in
solo action! Nobody cares but me, really. Hitman guest stars in
Batman Chronicles #4 as well.

Mist 1 (of 4, duh). Sandman vs. Starman's archfoe. Ties into
upcoming issues of Starman.

Starman #18 (Robinson & Harris). Ted Knight vs. The Mist (and
The Sandman).

Power of SHAZAM! #14 (Ordway & Kane). Cap Junior solo story pen-
cilled by Gil Kane.

Hellblazer #100 (Jenkins & S. Phillips). Constantine falls into
a coma and experiences his own private hell.

Why they're making you pick up Showcase '96 #4: Dr. Fate meets
The Shade in a "Times Past" story by Robinson & Matt Smith.

Swamp Thing #165 (Millar & Swan). Yes, Curt Swan. This issue
tells us where Chester has gotten to. He's been through a lot
of changes, man.

Cristopher Priest & Howard Porter are the new creative team on
Hawkman, beginning with #31.

The Big Book of Freaks (Gahan Wilson & Various).

TPBs: Superman: Bizarro's World, Preacher. But DC reminds us, in
the wake of the Florida comic shop raid, that "Retailers in sen-
sitive markets are advised that vertigo books may contain strong
language and sexual situations, and should be ordered accordingly."

DC OverPower, the trading card game counterpart to Marvel Over-
Power, is previewed in inserts to the "Firepower" DC trading cards
from Fleer/Skybox.

kinda cool.
