MARVEL:
=======
Lee/Liefeld interview. "Unfinished Business" starts this summer.
Not much hard info in this puff piece, but Jim and Rob say this
project will move them away from the grim and gritty types of
stories they're associated with and toward the nobler, purer
heroes of Marvel's Silver Age. Two pieces of promo art: the Lee
FF poster seen in Wizard and the WildStorm and Hero web sites,
Liefeld's impossibly muscled Cap. Cosmetic change here-the "A"
on Cap's forehead has been changed to a silver stylized eagle
design a la Wonder Woman's insignia. Jim Lee likes Happy and Pep-
per Hogan (in Iron Man)...He will *not* turn Willie Lumpkin into
a cyborg...The Black Panther will show up...and he joked about
bringing in Devil Dinosaur and Moon Boy. Rob says he hopes to have
Ron Garney involved in this project somewhere.

"Interviewer: Are you guys getting any heat for this?
Jim: Nothing I haven't already read on the internet.
Rob: Er, my career has always had some sort of...
Jim: It's more a source of amusement now. It makes for interesting
reading when you're sitting on the can."

Sub-Mariner battle for the fate of Atlantis. Guest starring
Dolphin, not.

Fantasic 4 Lame Duck 2099 #6 (K. Kesel & M. Ryan). Reed goes back
into the Negative Zone.

Doom Lame Duck 2099 #42 (Peyer & Eaglesham). Crosses over with FF
#413.

*Marvel Heroes*
Sergio Massacres Marvel (Aragones & Evanier the Wonder Dog). Self-
explanatory. See also Sergio Destroys DC.

Iron Man Lame Duck #329 (Kavanagh & Cheung). Iron Lad goes to
college.

Avengers Unplugged #5 (Herdling & Wyman). Captain Marvel vs. Captain
Marvel.

FF Lame Duck #413 (DeFalco & P. Ryan). Doom 2099 invades Four Free-
doms Plaza. Reed asks Galactus for help in defeating Hyperstorm.

*Spider-Man*
Untold Tales #10 (Busiek & Oliffe). Debuts a "new" villain, Commanda.

Spider-Man: Legacy of Evil (Busiek & Texiera). Fully painted one-shot.
Ben Urich witnesses the kidnapping of Harry Osborn's son, and he, the
Molten Man, and Spidey scour the city, and recall the long and tragic
history of the Green Goblin.

*The "Edge"*
Daredevil #353 (K. Kesel & Nord). A return to the happy-go-lucky
days of DD. Plus the return of Matt Murdock.

Doctor Strange Lame Duck #90 (DeMatteis & Buckingham). Final
issue. Vicki Montesi is about to give birth...to Chthon.

*X-Men*
Onslaught is coming. But first he sends Holocaust after Nate in
X-Man #16 (Ostrander & Semeiks), and the Juggernaut comes looking
for him in X-Men #53 (Waid & Andy Kubert).

Wolverine #102 (Hama & Adam Kubert). Elektra hunts a feral Logan
in the concrete jungle of NYC. Special "no-words" issue. Guest star-
ring Snake eyes, not.

Further Adventures of Cyclops & Phoenix #1 of 4 (Milligan & Leon).
For the first time anywhere, the secret origin of Mister Sinister.
Transported back to the 1850's, Scott & Jean try to prevent an
encounter between a newly awakened Apocalypse and a young sci-
entist named Nathaniel Essex (a colleague of Charles Darwin).

MALIBU:

Exiles Lame Duck #7 (Quinn & Fang). Guest stars the Freex.

Witch Hunter #1 (L. Sutton & Joyce Chin). Supernatural Bad Girl
Stuff, but with female creators.

Prime #7 (G. Jones & Kolins). Guest starring Solitaire.

Foxfire #3 (Edgington & West). Guest starring the Punisher. Any time
you see a blurb that starts with "The Punisher falls into a dimen-
sional warp" it's time to reach for the aspirin.
