Subject: PREVIEWS-O-RAMA I. Acclaim-Dark Horse for April 1996. Spoilers
Date: Sat, 10 Feb 96 21:15:14 GMT

Boy this cataloging of Bad Girl Art is rough work! Er, am I
supposed to count each breast separately? Am I supposed to be
keeping statistics? What do I do with the data after I've
counted them all? Send it to Rev. Wildmon? Lament about the
downfall of society? Point at comic shop customers and yell,
"sinner!"? What do I do? Help me out here!

Er, perhaps I'll stick to talking about these here funnybooks
that I notice are *also* in this here catalog.

don't buy it and read this instead.

Shazam inker Mike Manley's self-publishing company is Action
Planet Comics, and it starts with a quarterly b&w anthology with
the same name, featuring work by Manley, Phil Hester, Ande Parks,
and John Heebink. Gah! The John Heebink who "pencilled" the final
issues of Quasar? What a (wait, wait calm down, remember the mantra:
remain positive or remain quiet...) er, lovely surprise!

Barry Windsor-Smith's oft-hyped "BWS: Storyteller" projects have a
home at Dark Horse this summer. The comic consists of three strips,
all written and drawn by BWS: Freebooters, Young Gods, and Paradox
Man. You may have seen ads in Ash or WildC.A.T.s before he had signed
a publisher.

David Copperfield's Tales of the Impossible (a text anthology from
Harper Collins) features an excerpt from an unfinished novel written
by Jack Kirby, re-edited into a short story.
