To all interested parties,

Hello, again. This is Sally Struthers of Enigma Graphic, with even more
exciting news about how YOU TOO can work in the Comic Book Industry!

No, sorry. It's just li'l ole me, James Parsons. I've gotten a ton of
responses to my earlier posts, and so I'm putting this one out to try and
give you all the details that you've been asking for. There's two main
parts to this: First, a breakdown of who I am, and what Enigma Graphic
is, in case you haven't heard of us yet. Second, a few questions and
instructions for you, the talented world, to tell us about yourselves.

*************************************************************************
Part One: What the heck is all this about?

I'm James, and I'm a writer for Enigma. I'm the one talking to all of
you (instead of my editor), because I'm the one with access to the
internet. Enigma Graphic (No "s") is a brand new comic book company
based in Chicago. The reason we're on the net is because we're still in
the earliest stages of forming the company and assembling a creative
staff, thus we're soliciting the world at large to join us.
We are looking for ANY AND ALL talented writers, pencilers, inkers,
letterers, colorers, cover artists, graphic design types, cartoonists,
people with a pen or a box of crayons... in short ANYONE who is
interested in making comic books. Aside from raw talent, we ask only
that you be dedicated enough to be a professional.
This is an open invitation, but some of you have written back to me
asking "What exactly are you looking for? Styles? Genres? What are you
working on already?" Well, we have some super-hero stories, some comedy,
some sci-fi, some fantasy, and so on, all in varying stages of
development. We happen to have more writers than artists for the moment.
But, call us crazy, we just can't get enough. If what we're doing
already isn't up your alley, tell us what is. IF IT'S GOOD, WE'RE
INTERESTED. That's us. Now...

Part two: ...tell me about yourself.

Download this questionnaire, fill it in (be specific, talk your head
off), and send it back to us (HARD COPIES ONLY PLEASE), with a sample of
your work. Writers should send in COMIC BOOK SCRIPTS only. Artists
should send in PANEL WORK (unless it's cover art). Send COPIES, unless
you don't mind never seeing it again. Basically, whatever you want to
do, the sample you send in should be in that form. So, here you go...

1)Who the heck are you?
        Name:
        Age:
        Shoe size:

2)Where the heck are you?
        Home address:
        Phone:
        E-mail address:
        Closest shoe store to you:

3)What the heck are you?
       What are your fave comics?
        Your influences?
        Experience/Schooling/Published work?
        Ultimate goals?
Have you written in script form/drawn panels, backgrounds,
sequential art before?
What would you like to do?
How many scripted pages can you consistently do per week?
How many feet do you have?

*************************************************************************
That's it. Like I said, pour your heart out here, and send it
back snail mail with some samples of your stuff. Here's the address:

			Enigma Graphic
			4344 S. Archer Ave.
			Suite 177
			Chicago, Illinois, 30632

We'll get back to ya' upon receipt of your stuff with an e-mail
blurb, and then when we actually get to look at it, we'll write or call.
Thanks for reading all this. Wake the kids, phone the neighbors...
It's Enigma Graphic!

Best-
James Parsons
