The following chart shows the correlation between TV episodes and

>>>Alterations made to the animated series
------------------------------------------

When bringing "The Maxx" to television, care was taken to keep the
look, story, and dialogue as close to the original comic as possible.
Much of the artwork is almost exactly the same, but usually recolored
for animation purposes. The dialogue also closely follows the comic
book, with few exceptions. There were, however, certain minor changes
made along the way. Julie's strong feminism is toned down slightly
for the animated version, and some of the more violent scenes and
dialogue have been altered. For instance:

Maxx's description of what Fridge and Teego do to their victims
	is edited. (Issue #1/Episode #1)

A portion of Maxx's dream featuring the "Crappon" is omitted
from the television show. (Issue #5/Episode #7)

When Maxx shrinks and battles an Is in Julie's apartment, the
knife he uses in the comic becomes a ladle on MTV.
	(Issue #7/Episode #9)

Also, the various cameos by other Image Comics characters have been
eliminated from the MTV version:

The Savage Dragon is replaced by a human detective.
	(Issue #6, Episode #8)

Mako is replaced by a close replica called Hammerhead.
	(Issue #6, Episode #8)

In the TV show, the "tiny Maxx" fights the Is by himself in
Julie's apartment, and Pitt's character is eliminated from
that scene. In the Outback, Pitt is replaced by Ret'qark'n.
	(Issues #7 & 8/Episodes #9 & 10)

>>>Additions made to the animated series
----------------------------------------

Certain scenes in the animated series are original, and do not appear
in the comic book. Some examples:

Julie's monolog at the beginning of episode #2.

Mr. Gone's conversation with the Isz in his station wagon
		in episode #3.

Sarah's moment of truth with the stone horse in episode #10.

Mr. Gone's recap of the series, which precedes episode #11.

Maxx's removal of his mask, and entering his own outback
		in episode #13.

Note: I have not personally seen every item on this list. Items that
I am only vaguely aware of are marked with a "*". If you have any
information about these items, I encourage you to e-mail me, and
fill me in on the details.

Also, I can't help anyone obtain the items on this list, except
to offer some suggestions:

For comic back-issues and trading cards, check comic book
	shops, card shops, and conventions.

For any merchandise, try reading "Head to Head" each month in
"The Maxx", or place an ad there for what you need yourself.

USENET has newsgroups set up for the sale/trade of merchandise.
For the appropriate groups to use, see Part VI of this FAQ.

being shipped later.

As of this writing, McFarlane Toys' contract with Sam Kieth expires in
