Subject: Official Legion Roster: Part One
Date: 27 Dec 1995 19:38:57 -0500

This is the first part of a three part series listing all of those who
have joined the illustrious ranks of the Legion of Super-Heroes. With this
list a newcomer will have an idea of who's who in the 30th Century.

Part I: The Silver Age Legion

These are the Legionnaires, in order of induction, who are depicted
from
the very begining in ADVENTURE COMICS #247 to the end of the second series
of
LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES and is the primary source of Legion lore.

Information include:
   1. The first appearance and issue where they joined the Legion is
stated
(if different).
   2. Real name and homeworld.
   3. Brief description and source of powers.
   4. Latest status in Legion.
   5. Personal notes and opinions on character.

Also included are those who joined the Legion for just one issue or
story
or was promptly kicked out when it was discovered they were bad guys.

Remember that the Silver Age Legion spans over 30 years and just as
the
20th Century has changed quite a bit in those 30 years, so has the 30th
Century and it is impossible to adequately comment on these changes in
this
brief essay.
