Ace the Bathound - The KC version of the now-out-of-continuity DC
     canine hero. In KC, companion to Batwoman, and like her from

Alloy - A new character. The KC version of the DC heroes the Metal
     Men. A member of the Justice Battalion and the Justice League.
     First appears in issue 1, page 26, panel 1.
Al Xu'ffasch, Ibn - A new character; the son of Batman and Talia Al
     Ghul; heir to Ra's Al Ghul's empire; MLF member. First appears
     in issue 2, page 23, panel 1.
Americommando - A DC hero (as Tex Thompson, aka Mr. America, aka
     the Americommando). In KC, a rogue metahuman. First appears in
     issue 2, page 3, panel 1.
Aquaman II - A DC hero (as Garth, aka Aqualad (a member of the
     Teen Titans) aka Tempest). In DC, Garth is Aquaman's adopted
     son; presumably this is also the case in KC. In KC, he is a
     member of the Justice League. First appears in issue 2, page
     30, panel 2.
Atlas - A DC hero, originally created by Jack Kirby in _First
     Issue Special_ #1 and has never appeared since then until now.
     In KC, a hero and member of the Justice League. First appears
     on the cover to issue 2 and in issue 3, page 25, panel 1.
Atom-Smasher - The KC version of the DC hero Nuklon. The son of the
     Golden Age Atom's goddaughter. A member of the Justice League.
     First appears in issue 2, page 28, panel 1.
Avia - A new character. The daughter of the DC heroes and Fourth
     World Gods Mister Miracle and Big Barda. A member of the
     Justice League. First appears in issue 2, page 26, panel 2.
Bat-Knights - New characters. The robotic enforcers of Batman's
     will in Gotham City. First appear in issue 1, page 36, panel
     1.
Batman - A DC hero. In KC, the leader of the opposition. In DC and
     KC, father to Ibn Al Xu'ffasch by Talia al Ghul. First
     appearance here in issue #2, page 14, panel 1.
Batwoman - A new version of a now-out-of-continuity DC heroine.
     Companion to Ace the Bathound, and like him from the Fourth
     World. Part of The Batman's group. First appears in issue 2,
     page 17, panel 4.
Beppo - The KC version of the now-out-of-continuity DC super-monkey
     pet of Superman.  In KC, Superman's pet monkey. First appears

Barda - A DC heroine (Big Barda); the New God, wife of Scott Free
     and in KC the mother to Avia. A member of the Justice League.

Black Canary III - A new character. Daughter of Black Canary II and
     Green Arrow. Part of Batman's group. First seen in issue 2,
     page 17, panel 4.
Blackhawks - WW2 DC heroes (originally Quality characters). In KC,
     they are rogue metahumans. First seen in issue 2, page 26,
     panel 1.
Black Manta - The DC villain. In KC, a rogue metahuman. Imprisoned
     in the Gulag. First seen in issue 3, page 5, panel 2.
Black Mongul - A new character. A rogue metahuman. First seen on
     the cover of issue 1 and in issue 3, page 6, panel 1.
Black Racer - The DC Fourth World Harbinger of Death. In KC, an
     unaligned metahuman (and seemingly still the Harbinger of
     Death). First seen in issue 2, page 28, panel 5.
Blue Beetle - Ted Kord. A DC hero. In KC, a member of Batman's
     group. First seen in issue 2, page 17, panel 1.
Blue Devil II - The KC version of the DC hero the Blue Devil. A
     rogue metahuman. Imprisoned in the Gulag. First appears on the
     cover of issue 1 and in issue 2, page 28, panel 1.
Brainiac's Daughter - A new character. The daughter of Brainiac,
     the "living computer," and ancestor of Legion of Superheroes
     member Brainiac 5. In KC, a member of the Justice League.
     First appears in issue 2, page 19, panel 2.
Braintrust - New characters. Rogue metahumans. First seen in issue
     2, page 7, panel 1.
Buddha - A new character. A rogue metahuman. First seen on the
     cover of issue 1 and in issue 4, page 9, panel 1.
Bulletman - A DC hero (formerly a Fawcett character). In KC, a
     member of the Justice League. First appears in issue 2, page
     44, panel 1.
Bulletgirl - A DC heroine (formerly the Fawcett heroine of the same
     name). In KC, a member of the Justice League. First appears in
     issue 3, page 25, panel 1.
Cannon, Peter - A DC hero (formerly the Charlton character
     Thunderbolt). In KC, a rogue metahuman and member of the
     Justice Battalion. Killed in issue 1. First seen in issue 1,

Captain Atom - A DC hero (formerly a Charlton hero). In KC, a rogue
     metahuman and member of the Justice Battalion. Killed in issue

Captain Boomerang - A DC villain. In KC, an unaligned and possibly
     retired metahuman. Possible co-owner of a bar with Weather

     superpet (and boyfriend - trust me, it's too long a story to
     go into here) of Supergirl. Superman's pet horse. First

Condor - The KC version of the DC hero Black Condor (originally a
     Quality character). Part of Batman's group. First seen in
     issue 2, page 17, panel 4.
Cossack - A new character. Part of Batman's group. First seen on
     the cover of issue 3 and in issue 4, page 13, panel 4.
Creeper - A DC hero. In KC, a member of Batman's group. First seen
     in issue 2, page 26, panel 2.
Darkstar - Robert Long. In DC, the child of the DC heroine Donna
     Troy and her (possibly deceased) ex-husband Terry Long. In KC,
     their grown son and a member of the Batman's group. First
     appears in issue 2, page 20, panel 1.
Deadman - Boston Brand. A DC hero. In KC, an unaligned observer of
     events. First appears in issue 2, page 26, panel 2.
Demon Damselle - A new character. A rogue metahuman. Imprisoned in

Dibney, Ralph. A DC hero (The Elongated Man). In KC, a member of

Dodds, Wesley - A DC hero (the Sandman). In KC, retired and dying.

Dolphin - A DC heroine. In KC, a retired heroine and current Queen

Flash IV - A new character. Iris Park-West, the daughter of the
     Flash (Wally West) and his lover/wife Linda Park. Member of
     Batman's group. First appears in issue 3, page 20, panel 1.
Free, Scott - A DC hero (Mister Miracle); in KC, a member of the
     Justice League. Husband of Big Barda and father of Avia. First
     appears in issue 3, page 5, panel 2.
Ganthet - A DC cosmic being (Guardian of the Universe). In KC, an
     unaligned cosmic observer. First appears in issue 3, page 10,
     panel 1.
Gay Ghost - A DC hero; in KC, an unaligned metahuman. First appears
     in issue 2, panel 28, panel 1.
Germ-Man - A new character; a rogue metahuman. First appears on the

Golden Guardian - The KC version of the DC hero the Guardian (later
     known as the Golden Guardian). A member of the Justice League.

Green Lantern/Jade - A DC heroine (Jade); in KC, a member of
     Batman's group. Brother to Obsidian in both DC and KC; in DC
     she is the daughter of Alan Scott, the Golden Age Green
     Lantern, and the Golden Age villain Thorn; in KC she is the
     daughter of Alan Scott and the former Golden Age villain

Grundy, Solomon - A DC villain; in KC, an unaligned metahuman.

Ibis - The KC version of the DC hero (formerly a Fawcett

Insect Queen - The KC version of the DC heroine. A rogue metahuman.

Izaya Highfather - A DC hero and father to the New Gods; in KC, an

Jayna - The KC version of the Wonder Twin Jayna, from the
     _Superfriends_ cartoon. First appears in issue 2, page 26,
     panel 1.
Joker - A DC villain. In KC, a rogue metahuman. Killed by Magog in

Joker's Daughter - The KC version of the DC metahuman Harlequin
     (aka Duela Dent). In KC, daughter of the Joker and a rogue

Judomaster II - A new character. The KC successor to the DC hero
     Judomaster. A member of the Justice Battalion. Killed in issue

Justice Battalion - A new group. The band of metahuman vigilantes
     led by Magog; members are Alloy, Peter Cannon, Captain Atom,
     Judomaster II, Magog, Nightshade, and Peacemaker. Killed in

Justice League - The KC version of the DC group of heroes. Led by
     Superman. Members include Alloy, Aquaman, Alia Strange, Atlas,

     Scott Free, Golden Guardian, Hawkman, Hourman III, Human Bomb,

King Marvel (Freddy Freeman) - The KC version of the DC hero (and
     former Fawcett character) Captain Marvel, Jr. In KC, a member
     of the Justice League. Husband of Lady Marvel and father of

Krypto - The KC version of the now-out-of-continuity DC dog
     superpet of Superman.  Superman's pet dog. First appears in

Kyle, Selina - The DC villain Catwoman. In KC, a member of the MLF.

Lady Marvel - Mary Batson. The KC version of the DC heroine (and
     former Fawcett character) Mary Marvel. A member of the Justice
     League. Wife of King Marvel and mother of Whiz. First appears
     in issue 2, page 44, panel 1.
Legion of Superheroes - The DC and KC superhero group of the
     future. First seen in issue 1, page 34, panel 3. Members
     appearing: Superboy, Supergirl, Satrun Girl, Spark, Livewire,
     Brainiac 5, Cosmic Boy, Valor, Karate Kid, Sun Boy, Dream
     Girl, Ultra Boy, Timber Wolf, Invisible Kid, Element Lad, Star

McCay, Norman - a new character; a pastor, and (apparently) the
     deciding factor in humanity's fate. First appears here in

Menagerie - Garfield Logan. The DC hero and Teen Titan Changeling.
