Image Comics corporate account on 9/4/96 at 7:52 pm CDT:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SEPTEMBER 4, 1996


FULLERTON, CA -- At a meeting of the shareholders of Image Comics, Inc. held
today, the shareholders approved a resolution to remove Rob Liefeld as the
Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Company
subject to a second vote to be held in seven days.  The shareholders also
approved a resolution to terminate Rob as a member of the Board of Directors
of Image Comics effective immediately.  Minutes before the meeting, the
Company received Rob's written resignation from all of these positions.
