Negative Space: Internet Explorer
- An iPad app for simple podcasting: does it exist?
-
All I want is an iPad app that will record audio and send it as an mp3 to an address of my choosing, in the standard iOS Mail application. I was surprised that this appears to be an impossible dream. I ended up looking at VR+ and Smart Recorder and choosing Smart Recorder until something better comes along.
- A new, accessible Mimsy
-
I’ve recently updated the HTML in Mimsy to be more accessible to alternative browsers. But this does mean that if you’re still using Internet Explorer on the Macintosh, you might want to move to something else.
- Taking control of the vertical
- Take control of your browser windows, colors, and cache. Privacy and security are important on the web, and so is avoiding annoying and stressful pages.
- Webserving on Eight Megabytes a Day
- This article is a blast from the past. Yes, I used to run Negative Space on eight megabytes. Over a 14.4 modem. Uphill. Both ways. Presumably you could still do it, but it would have to be static files for the most part (and you might want to hook that Macintosh up to Ethernet).
- XDomainRequest’s hidden requirements
- XDomainRequest requires the use of an onload function, or it will sometimes work and sometimes not work, depending on whether it has loaded the page in question.
