Shamus Young, fresh from The DM of the Rings, and Shawn Gaston take on table-top role-playing games. The strip doesn’t have the but-gusting funny out of the gate that DMotR had, but it’s definitely hitting the gamer stereotypes.

Shamus Young’s epic retelling of The Lord of the Rings movie from the perspective of the player characters is absolutely hilarious, and, fortunately for you, now available in its entirety. If you’re a gamer or a Lord of the Rings fan, this is required reading.
- DND Corner
-
Good advice for fantasy gamers, including players and game masters.
- Errant Dreams Roleplaying Resources

There is some very nice game master advice here, especially with regards for horror (and Alice Cooper is playing “Feed My Frankenstein” on my CD player as I write this). There are a few articles on good playing as well, also interesting. Heather is also a co-author for some White Wolf and Babylon Project titles.
- EV-Web
-
Includes a Vampire parody based on Care-Bears, the Brady Bunch, and Barney.
- Fantasy Library

Looks like it will be a nice site when it’s finished, but on last check most of the links weren’t ready yet. These are the folks who make the “Shadow Bindings” free RPG. Used to be the Fantasy Journal APA.
- Ferret Mortuary

A DOS-based Hero System gamemaster aid.

Includes some of the “Transactions of the Royal Martian Geographical Society” for Space:1889, as well is stuff for “Forgotten Futures”. Specializes in “historical science fiction and scientific romances”.
- The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings•
-
The best fantasy books I have ever read. “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit…” I found the animated movie to be marvelous as well. And the new movies by Peter Jackson are awesome! Great, great stuff. A story about temptation, on many levels. Both the powerful and the small, the wise and the foolish, countries, groups, and individuals, are subjected to temptation. How all of these entities deal with temptation is the real story of “The Lord of the Rings”.
- John H. Kim’s Role-Playing Game Page

No, it isn’t a comment on Irish beer. Sometimes nit-picky, often hiliarious rules bending from the rules lawyer masters at SJG.
