Egg Flower Ramen Soup
Cheap ramen made fancy (and maybe a little nutritious). Should cost about 92 cents.
Servings: 2
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 package chicken-flavored Top Ramen
- 1 Tblsp corn starch
- 1 egg
- 8 oz can baby peas
Steps
- Boil water as directed on package.
- Add ramen and flavor packet.
- Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add corn starch and stir until thick (30 seconds)
- In a separate bowl, break egg and scramble it.
- Pour egg in the middle of the boiling ramen and watch it "flower" (almost as much fun as a lava lamp).
- Add baby peas.
- Cook for 2 more minutes.
You can substitute an 8 ounce can of VegAll for the peas. You can also use sliced up onions and red and green bell peppers.
Or, use tomato flavored roman instead of chicken.
Drink with Sake or Lucky Lager.
