I'm making a nice living out of it now, but even if I wasn't I will still 
continue doing it. Long before I started inking professionally, I had been 
doing mini-comics for years, most of the time turning no profit at all. I 
just wanted to do them. If the comics job fizzles out, then I have lots of 
other jobs to fall back on to. Whatever those jobs may be, I'd still be 
doing those mini comics...

We can only hope. We can't say what's going to happen there until we see it 
already happening. But I'm optimistic. Getting Grant Morrison to write the 
X-Men after Claremont is a damn audacious move. I hope this could be the 
start of something really good.
